Who is Hannah Little?
She is a versatile mixed-media artist, blending printmaking, digital illustration, painting, and performance. Her artistic exploration dives into the intricate tapestry of self-identity, drawing inspiration from the landscapes of nature, girlhood, the toxicity of purity culture, and the overarching journey of self-discovery.
As a queer female artist, Hannah's work serves as a powerful reflection and invites viewers to confront the shadows of their past and current daily lives. She embraces vulnerability as a profound source of strength, resilience, and protest in her artistic expression.
Hannah graduated Cum Laude with departmental honors from Appalachian State University in the Fall of 2023, studying Studio Art with a minor in Marketing. Currently, she holds a studio residency and helps curate exhibitions for the Nth Gallery. Professionally she is also the Web and Graphics Manager for Cheap Joe’s Art Supplies located in Boone, NC as well.
Her work has been featured in the PEEL Publication from 2019 to 2023. In 2022, Hannah received an Appalachian State research grant for her work. Looking ahead, Hannah aims to obtain her MFA and pursue a career as an Expressive Art Therapist.
